 General FAQs

  • At Faced The Facial Studio®, our service menu is simple: all of our services are either 30 or 50 minutes. Your options are: 30 Minute Custom Facial, 30 Minute Signature Hydrafacial, 50 Minute Custom Facial, 50 Minute Custom Facial + Dermaplaning, or 50 Minute Platinum Hydrafacial.  Once you are in the treatment room, your esthetician will analyze your skin in order to customize your treatment to your needs.  

  • All modalities are included in the flat cost of the facial. You will never be up-charged. A 30 minute facial typically includes up to one modality. A 50 minute facial typically includes up to two modalities. While you can certainly make requests for your service to include a particular modality, your esthetician will determine what your skin needs and make a final decision on the course of treatment.

  • Yes! Dermaplaning, a non-invasive physical form of exfoliation using a specialized blade that removes the outermost layer of dead skin cells and vellus hair (peach fuzz) from the surface of your skin, is a complementary add-on to our 50 Minute services. Book it by selecting either the “50 Minute Custom Facial + Dermaplaning” or “50 Minute Hydrafacial + Dermaplaning” option. Our professional staff will work with you to determine if you are a good candidate for the service.

  • Dermaplaning reveals smoother and brighter skin, giving the complexion a rejuvenated appearance. It creates a smooth canvas for make-up application, and it enhances product absorption into the skin. You may return every 3-4 weeks for dermaplaning.

  • No, the vellus hair on your face will not grow back thicker than before.

  • Yes, Faced The Facial Studio® is a great place to celebrate everything from birthdays to bachelorettes to friends’ evenings out! For groups of 3 or more, Faced The Facial Studio® offers membership pricing. Contact us to learn more about how we can help make your group outing special.

  • Yes, ask us about our wedding package!

  • Yes! If you refer 5 new clients, you will receive a complimentary 50 Minute Custom Facial. Simply have the new clients you are referring list your name as the referral source on their Client Intake Form.

  • We treat clients 12 or older.  Clients under the age of 18 years old must have a parent or guardian’s consent to be treated.  

  • Absolutely! Our experienced estheticians will follow pregnancy-safe protocols. Please make sure to note in your Intake Form that you are pregnant.  

  • Please give us a call at the studio so we can discuss individualized treatment options.

  • Please make sure to follow the steps below:

    • Stop the use of Retin-A, Renova, Adapalene, BHAs, AHAs, or any other intensive prescribed exfoliating products 1-2 weeks prior to your appointment.  

    • If you have been on Accutane, you must wait 8 months after stopping use to receive a facial.

    • If you plan to get Botox or fillers, do so at least 2 weeks before your facial.

    • If you’ve had any recent facial trauma/surgery, you must wait 6 months before getting a facial.

    • Avoid steam rooms 48 hours before your appointment and 48 hours after your appointment to reduce any inflammation.  

    • If you plan to work-out before a facial, do so 2-3 hours prior to your appointment; workouts can increase the core temperature of your body which may cause the skin to be more reactive to certain treatments.

    • If you have any open wounds, contagious conditions, or cold sores, please wait until they are healed to get a facial.

    • Avoid waxing, shaving, tweezing, harsh exfoliation, excessive sun exposure, and abrasive tools 48-72 hours before your facial.

    • Wait 24-48 hours after having lash extensions before getting a facial.

    • After your facial, avoid direct sun exposure, steam rooms, excessive heat, abrasive facial tools, exfoliation, active ingredients, and waxing or hair removal for 24-48 hours. 

    • Please also follow the post-treatment advice your esthetician provides.

  • No, Faced estheticians do not extract milia.

  • Yes, you can purchase physical gift cards at the studio.  Electronic gift cards can be purchased online here.  

  • As a cash-free business, credit cards are the only form of payment we accept for services, products, and gratuity.

  • No, only the client is permitted in the treatment room.

Membership FAQs

  • Yes! Getting regular facials is the best way to ensure your skin always looks its best, so we offer discounted service and product rates to clients who commit to returning regularly. Read about our membership program here.

    • Our best price point on services: Members who visit once monthly receive approximately 11% off services, and members who visit twice monthly receive approximately 17% off services.

    • Discounted retail products: Members receive 10% off all in-store retail purchases so they can build their at-home skincare regimen.

    • Hydrafacial access: members may apply their monthly membership towards the cost of a HydraFacial

    • Special access to events

    • Priority booking

  • You book the exact same way you would book a single facial service. Click“Book Now” on the website then follow the prompts.

    • Please note that at the end of your online booking, the booking service will request your credit card information. Despite this request, you will not be charged for your service when you book. Only a holding charge will be placed on your card.

    • When you check out after your service, your membership voucher will be applied against the cost of your service. The only payment due at the time of the service is any gratuity you choose to leave.

  • You will be charged each month on the anniversary of your membership activation.

  • There is a minimum 3 month commitment to the membership program. This allows time for the results of your regular facials to become evident. After that, you may cancel your membership any time, as long as you provide at least 15 days notice.

  • Yes, you may pause your membership one time every twelve months for a one, two, or three month period. You must notify the studio in writing (info@facedfacialstudio.com) at least 48 hours in advance of your next monthly membership charge in order to pause it.

  • All membership vouchers must be used within 60 days of the monthly charge and will permanently expire after that.

    • No more than two vouchers may be on your account at any given time, unless you are a two-visit per month member, in which case you may have a maximum of four vouchers on your account at a time.

    • In order to use an extra voucher, you may visit Faced The Facial Studio® twice in one month or apply up to two vouchers towards a Hydrafacial.

  • No, memberships and membership vouchers are non-transferrable.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation Prior to The Day of Your Appointment

No problem. If you would like to, reschedule for another time that works for you!

Same-Day Appointment Cancellation

If you cancel or reschedule a 30 Minute service on the day of your scheduled appointment, your credit card on file will be charged $50. If you cancel or reschedule a 50 Minute service on the day of your scheduled appointment, your credit card on file will be charged $75.

No Show/No Call

If you do not cancel or show up for your 30 Minute service, your card on file will be charged $105. If you do not cancel or show up for your 50 Minute service, your card on file will be charged $170.

Late Arrival

If you arrive within 5 minutes after your scheduled start time for a 30 minute facial, we will do an expedited facial. If you arrive within 20 minutes after your 50 minute facial start time, we will do an expedited facial. If you do not arrive within the prescribed times, we will charge the no-show rate.

Shipping

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Orders are processed and shipped within 3 to 4 business days.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. For more information please visit our Shipping Policy page.

Returns 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

BioRePeel Blue FAQs

  • BioRePeel Blue is a chemical peel that blends multiple potent ingredients to deliver exceptional results. This innovative formula works on the skin's surface and deeper layers to exfoliate, stimulate cell renewal, and enhance overall skin health. Perfect for all skin types and provides noticeable results without extensive recovery time. The treatment itself takes 15 minutes to complete with other modalities/products included to enhance the results across a 50 minute service. There's no downtime, but some may experience minimal flaking or peeling.

  • This treatment covers a wide range of skin concerns such as Sun Damage, Acne, Hyperpigmentation, Scarring, Rosacea, Large Pores, Melasma, and General Skin Rejuvenation

  • You'll see immediate results and an instant glow! BioRePeel Blue sheds dead skin cells, exfoliates the skin's surface, hydrates, and reveals a more youthful looking appearance to the skin. Long term, BioRePeel Blue helps fight fine lines and wrinkles, lift pigmentation, even skin texture and alleviates acne and scarring.

  • Your esthetician will advise based on your individual needs and desired goals in your initial appointment. General recommendation is 4-6 sessions, depending on the severity of skin condition and concern. Treatments can be scheduled 7 to 10 days apart.

  • Contraindications

    • Used retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, retinols, or any active ingredients or exfoliants 7 days prior to the service

    • Received Botox or filler within 7 days of the service

    • Had laser treatments or laser hair removal within 4 weeks of the service

    • Had waxing treatments or used chemical hair removal creams within 7 days of the service

    • Used Accutane within an 8 month period

    • Used an inhibitor within 7 days of your service

    • Been on an antibiotic that causes sun sensitivity for 7 days prior to the service (consult with your doctor)

    • Have had any active bacterial infection, viral, fungal, or herpetic infection within 7 days of your service

    • Have open wounds on your face or neck

    • Have pre-existing inflammatory dermatosis (i.e. psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, pemphigus)

    • Have/had skin cancer- must be cancer free for a period of 3 years and have direct written consent from a physician

    • Are pregnant or breastfeeding

    • Have a history of drugs with photosensitizing potential

    • Have not fully recovered from any kind of cosmetic surgery

    • Have an aspirin allergy

    Post-Instructions

    Avoid the following after a BioRePeel service:

    • Non-mineral based makeup products for at least 24 hours

    • Gym for 24 hours

    • Chemical, physical, or mechanical exfoliants for 7 days

    • Antibiotics causing sun sensitivity for 7 days

    • All AHAs, BHAs, and Retinol for 7 days

    • Laser hair removal for 4 weeks

    • Waxing and/or threading for 7 days

    • Swimming and saunas for 7 days

    • Hot yoga for 24-72 hours

  • You will see instant results with a nice skin glow, tightness of pores, and more plump skin. BioRePeel Blue targets the dermis (medium depth of skin) with the goal of stimulating new skin growth and improving surface texture and appearance. It is used to diminish long term effects in treating active skin concerns such as sun damage, blemishes, pigmentation, wrinkles, and fine lines.

  • BioRePeel Blue has minimal to NO DOWNTIME which means no excessive peeling will occur after a session, unlike most other TCA peels. However, it is normal for some people to experience slight skin shedding due to the accumulation of dead skin cells in a specific area that has been removed and stimulated.

  • BioRePeel Blue is completely safe for use on ALL skin types, tones, and ages 15 years and older. It is NOT photosensitive and can be used all year round with recommended use of SPF 50+.

  • No, BioRePeel Blue is not safe for clients that are pregnant or nursing. However, it is the perfect treatment after you are pregnant and no longer nursing to restore your skin after hormonal changes that affected your skin during pregnancy such as hyperpigmentation from acne, melasma and more.

  • Yes, you can book a BioRePeel as a first time client to Faced as long as you fit all other qualifiers (no actives or retinol for 7 days, not pregnant or nursing, no injectables in the last 14 days, etc.) However, this service is best suited for clients who are used to receiving facials and using active ingredients. We would not encourage booking a BioRePeel if this is your first facial ever. As always, it is up to your esthetician's discretion on what is a safe treatment for your skin.

  • Clients as young as 15 years can receive this treatment. Parental/Guardian consent is required up to 18 years of age.

  • We encourage clients to book this service in advance so you have time to cut out actives and retinol from your regime 7 days prior to your appointment. You can upgrade to this service in treatment as long as you are a candidate and your esthetician has received this higher tier training.
